You are invited to participate in the Fair Parade on Wednesday, July 15 Line up at 1000 South Main (Summit Church) at 4:30 pm with parade to start at 5:30pm.
SKY HIGH BOUNCE INFLATIBLES
Sky High Bounce Inflatibles out of Storm Lake will be at the fair all four days this year. Saturday will be Kid’s Day with wristbands good for all day enjoyment. Wristbands may be purchased in advance by contacting one of the fair directors.
STOCK CAR RACES

DEMO DERBY
The demo derby, one of our most popular events, will be held Saturday, July 18 in front of the grandstands. Pits will open at 5:00pm with the demo beginning at 7:00pm. BABY CONTEST
This year’s baby contest will be held Saturday, July 18. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with judging at 9:00 a.m. The contest will be held at the 4-H auditorium. Babies must not be older than 24 months the day of the contest. The contest is open to all babies in our fair trade area. An adult member of the family must accompany each contestant. BBQ CONTEST
A BBQ contest will be held on Sunday, July 19. Watch the newspapers and the meat department at Fareway for more information regarding time, categories, etc.
OPEN HOG SHOW
The Open Hog Show will be held Sunday, July 19, in the Show Ring. Weigh-in from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Show will begin at 1:00 p.m. The open hog show is sponsored by the Buena Vista County Pork Producers. For information contact Marty Broich at 284-2163.
