You are invited to participate in the Fair Parade on Tuesday, July 19 Line up at the Alta High School at 6:00 pm with parade to start at 6:30pm.
SKY HIGH BOUNCE INFLATIBLES
Sky High Bounce Inflatibles will be at the fair this year. Saturday will be Kid’s Day with wristbands good for all day enjoyment. Wristbands may be purchased in advance by contacting one of the fair directors.
STOCK CAR RACES

DEMO DERBY
The demo derby, one of our most popular events, will be held Saturday, July 23 in front of the grandstands. Pits will open at 5:00pm with the demo beginning at 7:00pm. Classes will include welded, non-welded, front-wheel drive; for more information contact Randy Robbins at 299-4299 or Brent Meyer at 299-1988.
BABY CONTEST
This year’s baby contest will be held Saturday, July 24. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with judging at 9:00 a.m. The contest will be held at the 4-H auditorium. Babies must not be older than 24 months the day of the contest. The contest is open to all babies in our fair trade area. An adult member of the family must accompany each contestant. OPEN HOG SHOW
The Open Hog Show will be held Sunday, July 25, in the Show Ring. Weigh-in from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Show will begin at 1:00 p.m. The open hog show is sponsored by the Buena Vista County Pork Producers. For information contact Marty Broich at 284-2163.
Pony Rides
Back to this year’s fair will be pony rides. Rides will be available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the fair.
